You are a manager for a Manufacturer of office furniture. You recently hired an economist to estimate the production function for a line of office chairs. The report these experts indicates that the relevant production function is: Q=2(K)^1/2 (L)^1/2 Where K represents capital equipment and L is labor. Your company has already spent a total of $8,000 on 9 units of capital equipment it owns. Due to current conditions, the company does not have the flexibility needed to acquire additional equipment. Write 2 page essay on the topic :Break a Social Norm.

I chose this approach for several reasons. The first is I do get irritated by disruptive children. I feel the need to define a disruptive child. An infant under one is not responsible for crying in the store. Normally the child is just tired, hungry, or dirty. This cry is the baby trying to communicate. I get irritated by children two and up throwing fits, screaming, running into people, destroying store property, and so forth. Normally their parents just ignore this behavior, or just scream back at the child.

The second reason I chose this norm to approach is the obvious safety issue. When a child under the age of twelve is running around being ignored the chances of an accident, abduction, or other mishap rises. I do not understand the mentality of a person ignoring the damage their child is doing, or even the damage that can be done to the child.

Thirdly, I feel that if a parent was confronted in a calm manner more, maybe their behavior would change. Some people will never change, but some people when offered options might. Parents can get overwhelmed. Children do not come with a manual. Help might work, whereas public shame does not. Whatever is going on does not work, or children would not be making scenes in public.

I attempted breaking this norm several times with various results. The first instance was a woman with a three year old screaming ‘I want it’ while holding a candy bar. I approached the lady, saying ‘Excuse me.’ She looked very professional, but stressed. She warily asked, ‘Yes.’ I asked if she was going to buy the candy bar for the little girl. She explained that if she did not the little girl would throw a fit for the rest of the evening. I asked if she wanted help with the little girl’s temper tantrums. After a positive reply, I handed her a pamphlet about positive reinforcement. She thanked me. In the end, the lady still bought the candy for her daughter. Another woman with a

Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on the strategic marketing plan audit. The brewery that brews Tsingtao was started in 1903 by the German businessmen in China. It was then taken over by the Japanese in 1945 before it was then reclaimed by the Chinese Nationalist government in Nanjing till 1949 when the People’s Republic of China took up the brewery together with its brands (Yang, 2005). Upon the beer being taken up by the state, it did not perform very well in the local market till 1980 (Colley, 2005) and it is maybe because of this reason that the brand was introduced to the US market in 1972. Since then it has continued to command a competitive market edge despite the competition from Zhujiang and Yanjing, the major Chinese beer brands in the US. Tsingtao Brand at the moment is present in more than fifty countries in the world (Yang, 2007) and the international market for the beer has proven feasibility and great ROI. This paper seeks to highlight the possibility of venturing into the England market. The paper is simply a marketing plan for the introduction of the Tsingtao brand into the England market and aims extensively at analyzing the situation at the England beer market and SWOT analysis to establish the feasibility of the brand in the market. Further, the paper aims to offer the best marketing mix and marketing strategies that will aid in the best-anticipated performance of the brand in the market.

Tsingtao has performed stunningly well in the markets it has been introduced to. For instance, in the US, the brand continues to perform very well not to mention its acceptable market share in the local Chinese market. England as the new target market for the beer appears a formidable market which can equally be competitive. This is basically because of the country’s economic status. it is the second largest economy in Europe and fifth in the world. It is considered as the centre of world economics and tops the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, technical industries such as aerospace and hardware/software manufacturer. Certainly, England is one of the most greatly industrialized countries in the world. The fact that the beer has performed particularly well in the US which is another world’s strongest economy is a clear marker that the beer can equally survive the beer market competition in England.

These experiences right from childhood to often distort the developing of psyches in the people of color leading to loss of crucial development task that brings about personal identity. In other words, the oppressive conditions that people of color often undergo as early as childhood often hinder their ability to develop their identity effectively and above all meet their potential.

Racism, discrimination, biasness, and prejudice that characterize the life of people of color are undoubtedly a tough experience that they have to endure at one point or another in their lifetime (Diller, 2011). It is unfortunate that all these tough experiences comes with power and some benefits that dominant community enjoy at the expense of the minority and this aspect confuse the people of color more powerfully than anything else. The fact that racism, ethnicity and prejudice perpetrated against diverse community is meant at portraying them as either bad or inferior race does a big blow in the identity development of most people of color. As most people grow up and try to gain more personal understanding of themselves and identities with respect to their social inclination they are often caught up in dilemma owing to the preponderance of negative messages they get from other dominant race concerning
