1. Brief explanation of the learning theory you selected, including why you chose it;
2. Detailed  explanation of how learning occurs, including students’ development,  acquisition of knowledge, and motivation, within the context of the  chosen learning theory;
3. Detailed explanation of how individual learners have differences in development, approaches to learning, and performance;
4. Explanation  of the role of families in promoting the intellectual, social,  emotional, physical growth, and well-being of children, and;
5. Description  of five simple things that families can do with their children to  support their intellectual, social, emotional and/or physical growth and  over-all well-being.

In  a 500-750-word essay, explain the roles of self-efficacy and  self-regulation as they apply to learning goals within the context of  social cognitive theory.

 In your essay:

• Discuss the roles self-efficacy and self-regulation play as they relate to learning;
• Explain how self-efficacy and self-regulation are related; and
• Select a grade level 1-8. Describe three age-appropriate strategies to promote positive self-efficacy and self-regulation.
