We live in a world where we want to label everyone and everything.  We need a very gray world to be more black and white.  This is especially the case when you read or watch a story unfold.  It is important to decide who are the heroes, who are the villains, and who are the victims in the story.  So in this assignment, I want you to answer the following questions about your characters and most important social issue happening within your novel: Fist, Stick, Knife, Gun: Book by Geoffrey Canada

9. Now choose one of these topics / issues to research and argue.  What is your topic of choice?
10. Find some RELIABLE, CONCRETE EVIDENCE from the internet.  Please put down the source information first:  Author, Title, Publisher, Publish date, URL.
11. Now insert your evidence.  Make sure that it is driven by fact or statistic!
12. Finally, introduce your argument.  Come up with an opening statement for your side of the debate regarding this topic.  Make sure you say something that is wholly opinion based and that someone could easily disagree with.
