hypothetical client.

  1. Create a hypothetical client, include the client’s name, age, marital status, occupation, and relevant family information (such as children or involved siblings or parents).  This should be 2-3 paragraphs.
  2. Presenting problem: What is the reason for the client receiving your services? Be specific about the problem, but do not add many extra details by “telling the client’s story.” This should be a 2-3 paragraph description about the problem as the client perceives it.

What are three of the client’s main intervention/treatment goals? These should be specific and measurable.  Describe the outcome the client wants to achieve. (1-2 pages)

3.      Relevant theoretical constructs: Which theory is relevant to your client’s case? Describe the relevant points of the theory and if applicable, which stage(s) are present. (1-2 pages) For example, clearly describe the main points of the theory and relevant stage(s). Freud’s Psychoanalytic Theory may apply to a client using defense mechanisms when dealing with addiction issues.  Give a general description of the theory and then discuss the relevant defense mechanisms.

  1. Intervention methods: Synthesize the theoretical model you chose above to explain the intervention methods you will utilize to help you client meet the goals. Remember that interventions should be based on documented evidence in your concentration, meaning that you should support your ideas with academic materials to show how they are appropriate.  (1-2 pages)
  2.  What cultural issues will you need to consider when working with your client? Culture can refer to age, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, and socioeconomic status. (1 page)
  3. Use of technology: Explain how you could use contemporary technology in your work with this client. For example
  4. store and organize records
  5. maintain confidentiality, such as preventing access to client files
  6. screen for symptoms of psychological disorders
  7. conduct therapy and meetings in non-traditional settings, such as through email or videoconferencing

Be sure to address the advantages and disadvantages of using technology for the purpose(s) you choose. (1/2-1 page)

The body of the paper should be 6-8 pages, not including the title page and reference page. Write the paper using guidelines of Standard English, and consult the Writing Center if you have questions about grammar or format.  Plagiarism is not tolerated. At least four academic references are required.

3. Gains from trade

Consider two neighboring island countries called Dolorium and Arcadia. They each have 4 million labor hours available per week that they can use to produce corn, jeans, or a combination of both. The following table shows the amount of corn or jeans that can be produced using 1 hour of labor.

CountryCornJeans(Bushels per hour of labor)(Pairs per hour of labor)Dolorium832Arcadia1224Initially, suppose Arcadia uses 1 million hours of labor per week to produce corn and 3 million hours per week to produce jeans, while Dolorium uses 3 million hours of labor per week to produce corn and 1 million hours per week to produce jeans. Consequently, Dolorium produces 24 million bushels of corn and 32 million pairs of jeans, and Arcadia produces 12 million bushels of corn and 72 million pairs of jeans. Assume there are no other countries willing to trade goods, so, in the absence of trade between these two countries, each country consumes the amount of corn and jeans it produces.

Dolorium’s opportunity cost of producing 1 bushel of corn is4 pairs  of jeans, and Arcadia’s opportunity cost of producing 1 bushel of corn is2 pairs  of jeans. Therefore,Arcadia  has a comparative advantage in the production of corn, andDolorium  has a comparative advantage in the production of jeans.

Suppose that each country completely specializes in the production of the good in which it has a comparative advantage, producing only that good. In this case, the country that produces corn will producemillion bushels per week, and the country that produces jeans will producemillion pairs per week.

In the following table, enter each country’s production decision on the third row of the table (marked “Production”).

Suppose the country that produces corn trades 26 million bushels of corn to the other country in exchange for 78 million pairs of jeans.

In the following table, select the amount of each good that each country exports and imports in the boxes across the row marked “Trade Action,” and enter each country’s final consumption of each good on the line marked “Consumption.”

When the two countries did not specialize, the total production of corn was 36 million bushels per week, and the total production of jeans was 104 million pairs per week. Because of specialization, the total production of corn has increased bymillion bushels per week, and the total production of jeans has increased bymillion pairs per week.

Because the two countries produce more corn and more jeans under specialization, each country is able to gain from trade.

Calculate the gains from trade—that is, the amount by which each country has increased its consumption of each good relative to the first row of the table. In the following table, enter this difference in the boxes across the last row (marked “Increase in Consumption”).

Complete 3 page APA formatted essay: Theory of Constraints.

iyahu says that, like a chain at its weakest point in any multifaceted structure at one point, it is only one aspect of the structure that restricts the given system from accomplishing its goal. Moreover, if the system needs to accomplish any noteworthy improvement then the constraint must be acknowledged and put in mind whenever the system is being managed (Dettmer, 1997).

According to Ronen, 2005, Theory of Constraints philosophy is built on the premise that any organization faces at least one constraint. A constraint can be regarded as anything that blocks a particular system from attaining its goal. Constraints can show up in many ways, though a core code within the theory is that there is mostly one, which affects the given system. The two types of constraints are internal and external. Internal constraints exist when the produce is less that the market demands. On the other hand, external constraints occur when the market demand is below the systems produce (Bragg, 2007).

The Theory of Constraints is made up of split, but related processes, which have dependable concepts. One distinct component is performance measures and five focusing steps. Basically, there are three key performance measurements to estimate, they include operating expense, throughput and inventory whereby the TOC insists on using them since they serve globally as compared to the local measures (Dettmer, 1997). Throughput denotes the speed at, which the system can generate money through sales and not production. In essence, no goods can be said to be assets until they are sold. Inventory is money that has been invested in goods that any firm intends to sell or any material that could be renewed into salable items. Essentially, the concepts of value added and overhead are of less importance in this case. Operating expense consists of all the money firms spend in changing inventory into throughput (Bragg, 2007).

The main objective in this particular event is that the firm wants to

Compose a 750 words essay on Research in Motion Entering a New Era of Marketing. Needs to be plagiarism free!

With the combination of the three, companies gain a more competitive advantage in the market. The consumer population is attracted to the most modern, advanced and attractive commodities (Rantanen, 2005). In the business of mobile phones, the scenario is the same. This paper will discuss the RIM’s marketing plan and the improvements the company can make on the basis of a general marketing analysis.

Research In Motion deals with mobile phones and handsets. The company enjoys over 20 year’s existence in the market. However, the existence of the company in the market has taken shifts in the modern century corporate environment. The number of competitors is significantly increasing. It is for this reason that the future of RIM is questioned. With the coming of smaller firms in the market, RIM’s future is greatly threatened. For instance, the coming of Samsung in the market has greatly threatened the significance of RIM. Over the past two years, Samsung commodities have more demand in the market than I-phone and the Blackberry. Apart from demand, other companies are stepping up their marketing strategies. These factors are increasingly putting pressure on RIM to upgrade its marketing strategies. With the increase of consumer demand on mobile phones, RIM could be losing a lot of profits due to competition.

In the case analysis regarding mobile phones and telecommunication, competition lies as the main problem. Apart from the competitors, the consumer should be pleased with the product an organization offers. Competition in this industry is based on technology and trends. We live in a society where trends and technology is a basic want for all consumers. When it comes to mobile phones, the current consumer population looks at the technologically advanced features of a gadget.

For instance, gadgets with the Android operating system have greater market recognition than phones which do not have this operating system (Ferrell & Hartline, 2010).
