  1. Mogul Products is a medium-sized manufacturer of small appliances in the Midwest. They have three production facilities which can ship to either of two large warehouses. These warehouses, in turn, ship product to four different retailers. (The retailers then transport the items to their retail stores, but that is not an issue for Mogul.) Plant A has a monthly production capacity of 2500 units. Plant B can produce up to 1500 units, and plant C can produce up to 4000 units. Warehouse M can handle no more than 5000 units per month, and Warehouse N can handle no more than 4000 units per month. Retailer @ will require 1500 units this month. Retailer X will require 2500 units this month. Retailer & will require 1000 units this month, and Retailer Z will require 2000 units this month. The following charts list the shipping cost ($/100 units) from the plants to the warehouses, and also the shipping cost ($/100 units) from the warehouses to each of the retailers: Transportation cost ($) per 100 Units ShippedFrom To From ToPlant Warehouse Warehouse Retailer M N W X Y Z A $70 90 M 40 40 30 50B 90 60 N 30 20 50 30C 80 40 Note: The units must be shipped in 100 unit blocks. This is true from plant to warehouse and from warehouse to retailer. Formulate a linear program that will determine the least-cost shipping scheme that allows Mogul to satisfy all retail demand.

Create a 8 pages page paper that discusses how can the study of ancient disease contribute to increasing our understanding of past societies. Similarly, an insight into the diseases and maladies of the past presents to us the different facets which can be researched upon either today or in the future so that the same ailments could be better treated in a controlled situation. It is also a fact that these ailments have already been discovered owing to different scientific and medical discoveries and explorations. The field of science has really marveled the mind of the ordinary man so much so that he understands all by himself that he could be cured from just about any disease which comes in his way. He has this intrinsic feeling from within that the medics would do their best to make him get rid of the disease at hand and thus cure him of his troubles and miseries. However before moving into that direction, it is better to grasp an idea and gain an understanding as to how the societies of the past chalked out plans to combat the various diseases and ailments and whether or not there was any follow-up action in the wake of increasing population, limited resources and a host of other factors.

Globalization has changed the face of the disease once and for all. It has made easy access to doctors, surgeons and other field specialists no matter which nook and corner of the world they practice from. Seeking second advice has become the norm. The same is more common for a third world native who first consults a doctor from his own country and society and then moves to outreach the developed nations like the United States and the United Kingdom in order to have a second opinion. All this has been made possible due to technological changes and shifts in the thinking mechanisms of people. What is required in the present times is merely to send the reports through the Internet or email and wait for the specialist to look at them and reach a particular conclusion? All this ease has been made by none other than human beings and the credit for this surely must rest on our shoulders.

t accepted cause behind this abrupt political change in the Arab Region is often considered as the peoples’ dissatisfaction, social media had played a crucial role in these uprisings in the Arab countries. Referring to the enormous role of internet and other social medias, Clay Shirky comments that “Social media have become coordinating tools for nearly all of the world’s political movements” (30). This assumption has been reflected thoroughly in the case of ‘Arab Spring’. In fact, the ‘Arab Spring’ was not any single event. rather it had been the climax of peoples’ discontent against the authoritarian and oppressive governments, which were mostly regimes in nature. Though peoples’ discontent with their political system reaches the climax during the 2010s, this discontent was fuming up through the preceding decades. Social media as well as other social communication networks help these people to take the manifestation of their dissatisfactions to the climax through an organized and unified effort. Social Medias like facebook, youtube, tumblr, twitter, etc helped those people to communicate, share and arrange the movements successfully. It is assumed that if peoples’ discontent had not ripened the background of the movement along the preceding decades, Social Medias themselves could not have staged the revolution. In this sense, social medias can be considered as sociopolitical tools which empower the mass with the awareness of the role of their political authorities in the betterment of public life.

The assumption that ‘social medias’ are tools of peoples’ sociopolitical awareness is supported by Clay Shirky. In his article, referring to the ouster of Estrada Government through a violent public protest, Shirky claims that the “potential of social media lies mainly in their support of civil society and the public sphere –change measured in years and decades rather weeks and months” (30). It is assumed that social medias have played
