The objective of this project is to develop a paper and a talk related to passive lumped and/or distributed RLC circuits.The focus of team activity can take a plurality of directions including the following potential topics:

• AC analysis techniques of various topologies including combinations of series and parallel circuits
• Computer simulations of steady-state and transient analysis of complex topologies comprised of lumped passive components (Rs, Ls, and Cs)
• Analysis of distributed RLC circuits
• Synthesis of filters using lumped and distribute RLC components
• Review of the salient characteristics of available computer aided analysis and design techniques

An introduction to new and evolving distributed passive components including memristors, new graphene-coated electrodes, etc.

Week 4

• Focus on the range of applications of the components and also identify industry leaders in the topical area.
