Sarah Power is the top salesperson for X-Way Technologies. She is so good at her job that Best Technologies offer her a job at a 25% increased salary package. Sarah accepts the offer and resigns, giving two weeks notice as required by her contract. However, she has 6 months remaining on her employment contract. The companies do not compete in the same markets, so there is no noncompetition issue. Harry, her X-Way sales manager is livid. He calls Best Technologies and tells them that Sarah falsified her resume and is uncivil in the office (neither is true). Best Technologies rescinds the offer.
