write my assignment 19981

This Lab uses and expands upon the OURDatabase Access file that you submitted in Module 02.

In this assignment, you will add more tables to your OURDatabase. This will be OURDatabase Step 3. We are beginning the process of approximating a medical encounter database “build” with this activity.

Part 1

In Part 1 of this assignment, you will use Microsoft Access to add Tables to OurDatabase. Watch the video below to learn how to add a table and to change its name to the one desired.

  • Video: Adding Tables in Access

Using Microsoft Access, add Tables to OurDatabase for each of the following Entities:

  • lab results
  • prescriptions
  • referrals
  • patient’s diagnosis

To do this, first click on “Create,” then “Table” to add each table.

Part 2

In Part 2 of this assignment, you will use Microsoft Access to add and correctly name the needed Primary and Foreign keys in OurDatabase. Watch the video below to learn how to establish the Relationships within Microsoft Access.

  • Video: Adding Keys and Establishing Relationships in Access

Now continue working with your OurDatabase file and do the following:

  1. Use Design mode to identify Primary keys and Foreign keys for each new table added in Part 1 above.
  2. Form a relationship for each of the new tables (added in Part 1 above) with the Patient Table that already existed in OurDatabase.
  3. Add and correctly name the needed Primary and Foreign keys, using Patient ID for each foreign key, to each table.
  4. Take a screenshot of your resulting Relationships in Design view of your database and paste the image into a Microsoft Word document.

If you are not familiar with taking screenshots, please visit the Library and Learning Services page “How can I take a screenshot on my smartphone, tablet, Mac, or PC?” for guidance.
