Create a 3 page essay paper that discusses Developing an Innovative Organization.

is paper seeks to critically discuss the appropriate culture that can be implemented in a large organization that is undergoing major change in its operations.

Culture in an organization is very important since it shapes the behaviour of the members working in that particular firm by virtue of the fact that it outlines shared values and norms that should be upheld by all employees. There are different types of organizational cultures but for a large organization that is undergoing major change, entrepreneurial culture will be most ideal. Basically, entrepreneurial culture is characterised by “high levels of risk taking, dynamism and creativity,” (Jackson & Schuler, 2000, p. 163). In this type of culture, there is high commitment to experimentation and innovation in the organization’s quest to produce new and unique products to the customers. This particular type of culture creates change rather than react to change in the environment it will be operating in. enlightened managers anticipate change in their operations and they scan the environment in order to put effective measures that can be implemented in order to adopt change in their operations.

This type of culture is very effective in a large organization that is undergoing a major change. Emphasis is put on experimentation and generation of new ideas in the operations of the companies against the background of competitive environments in which they are operating. Indeed, it is a fact that companies during the contemporary period operate in competitive environments that are characterised by other competitors offering the same products. In order to appeal to the interests of many customers, it is imperative for the company to experiment on new ideas that can help it to improve the already existing products. A product that already exists in the market but has been improved is likely to attract many customers. In most cases, the consumers are attracted by unique features that have been added to the

Compose a 1750 words assignment on the administration of higher education. Needs to be plagiarism free! The corporate world has continued to feel comfortable with the higher education sector to such an extent that the absorption of university graduates in the labor market is keenly being facilitated. Besides the identification and customization of appropriate labor force needs right at the training level, philanthropic giving from the corporate world has dramatically increased. A conglomeration of the factors presented to higher education by the corporate world reveals close cooperation between the two sectors on a mutual basis. While the higher education sector gains through corporate giving, the graduates produced by the universities possess an element of the active contribution that the corporate world makes through internships. Other collaborative projects that the two sectors engage in facilitate internalization of the market demand for professional labor.

In order to ensure that these paralleled interactions enhance education quality and integrity of the education system as a learning culture, the management offices of the two institutions need to pull in tandem (Bok, 2003).

Understanding how the coordination of the corporate sector and the higher education sector management takes place must unravel development questions raised. In this study, the interaction between these two sectors is analyzed with respect to similarities and differences in their organizational structure, culture, and leadership employed. Similarly, disparities in the systems are analyzed and mitigation solutions offered to maintain a good working relationship.

Traditionally, universities would plead to donors to fund major research projects that they were unable to fund using the limited resources allocated to them. Over the years, it increasingly became clear that looking for alternative sources of revenue for the&nbsp.institutions to fund their own research projects was the only way to self-sustenance. However, with the rise of corporate interest in research in the past few decades, the trend has changed with the corporate bodies taking charge.

Every day, a number of automobiles arrive in the morning at Casey’s Auto Body Shop. Casey has room for one car in the shop and up to two on the lot. If there is no room for a car, Casey is forced to send it to his competitor, Bob’s Body Boutique. Once a car has been dropped off at Casey’s it remains there until it is repaired. It takes a whole day to repair a car, but once repaired, it is gone by the following morning. Assume the number of autos that arrive each morning follows a Poisson(µ) distribution, and that the numbers on different days are independent. The situation at Casey’s can be viewed as a five-state Markov chain, where the states are 0, 1, 2, 3, B, where the numeric states refer to the total number of cars at Casey’s, and the state B is that there are 3 cars at Casey’s and he had to send some overflow to Bob.

1. Draw the graph corresponding to this Markov chain.

2. Write down the transition matrix for this in terms of the Poisson pmf pµ(k)

3. For µ = 0.2 and µ = 1.5, write down the numeric transition matrix.

4. Today, Casey has no cars. For µ = 0.2 and µ = 1.5, what is the numeric probability of each state in 30 days.

5. For µ = 0.2 and µ = 1.5, numerically find the steady-state (invariant) distribution of the Markov chain. 6. For µ = 0.2 and µ = 1.5, what is the steady-state probability that Casey will send Bob some customers on April 1. (Hint: It’s the probability of state B under the invariant distribution.)
