Need an argumentative essay on DRM: the basic framework and its motivation. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Advances in technology and increased utilization of the internet have raised the need for mechanisms that can help control and protect the interests of digital media authors (Aweh & Chiemeke, 2014). This was mainly because of widespread migration from analogues and hard materials to digital media as well as exposure to attackers or pirates who take advantages of the struggles made by digital material owners to make financial gains. The advent of home computer machines coupled with digital media recorder and recordable digital media for the user or consumer has increased the spree for digital media exploits (Mishra & Mukhopadhyay, 2014).

Materials like sophisticated DVD/ CD rippers, DeCSS and internet P2P sites has made it easier to spread digital materials hence booming piracy. Piracy has impacted negatively on the efforts of digital media producers. The result has pushed software industries, film and movie catalysts to put pressure on the governments to create stringent laws that will protect intellectual property as well as their rights for loyalties and compensation on their work. Digital rights management is therefore politically motivated and several states have come up with strict laws aimed at copyright protection. However, the move has not been fully successful in controlling piracy (Hunter, 2006).

Psychological Disorders from a Cultural Perspective

Many indigenous methods of healing differ from Western notions of healing. Indigenous healing is a culture-specific intervention, which is indigenously developed to treat the native people. Naikan therapy is a type of indigenous healing, which was created and promoted by Ishin Yoshimoto. In 1953, Yoshimoto established the first Naikan center in Yamato Koriyama, Nara, Japan. Naikan means introspection. Nai means inner or inside and kan means looking. Therefore, Naikan literally means looking inside or looking within. It involves a process of continuous meditation based upon highly structured instruction in self-observation and self-reflection, and its purposes are self-discovery and self-renewal. In Naikan, we explore our past using the following three themes:

What we received from others.

What we did for others.

The troubles we caused others.

In your paper, answer the following:

Describe the similarities and differences between indigenous healing methods, such as Naikan therapy and Western psychotherapy.

What psychological theories (such as cognitive, behavioral, psychoanalytical, et cetera) apply to interpreting indigenous healing techniques?

How effective are indigenous healing methods? Present research findings from scholarly literature to support your answer.

Describe how someone seeking treatment for mental disorders is viewed by society. Support your answer with information from professional or scholarly sources.

Requirements:

Should be between 4–6 pages in length

APA format

Include a minimum of three scholarly sources within your paper to support the assertions made.

Cars A and B are racing each other along the same straight road in the following manner: Car A has a head start and is a distance D_A beyond the starting line at t = 0. The starting line is at x=0. Car A travels at a constant speed v_A. Car B starts at the starting line but has a better engine than Car A, and thus Car B travels at a constant speed v_B, which is greater than v_A.How long after Car B started the race will Car B catch up with Car A?Express the time in terms of given quantities. How far from Car B’s starting line will the cars be when Car B passes Car A?Express your answer in terms of known quantities.

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words paper on the topic Compare and contrast the fixed and flexible budgets. However, in unstable business scenario, flexible budget is always more relevant as it helps the business to effectively manage possible changes in the business environment, which would be hazardous if not well managed. Therefore, budget managers are usually faced with the task of adopting the right type of budget for their organisations depending on business situation. This paper explores fixed and flexible budgets, their differences, preparation procedures and functions.

A fixed budget (static budget), is a type of budget that remains unchanged over the budget period regardless of changes in the level of activity of the organisation. A fixed budget is “prepared of for one level of activity for a definite time period” (Dutta 2004 p. 25). On the contrary, a flexible budget is a budget which is designed to change with changes in activity level. It is also referred to as variable budget because it takes into account cost behaviour, such as fixed and variable costs, in connection with changes in output level or turnover (Weygandt, Kieso & Kimmel 2010).

A fixed budget remains constant relative to the variation in the actual level of activity attained. This makes it inflexible. On the other hand, a flexible budget changes with the variation in the level of actual activity, which makes it flexible (Tulsian & Tulsian 2005).

A fixed budget is developed based on one level of activity and relies on the assumption that no change will occur in the prevailing circumstances, which is impractical. On the other hand, a flexible budget is based on various levels of activity (Weygandt, Kieso & Kimmel 2010).

In a fixed budget, all costs are related to a single level of activity. As such, variance analysis fails to provide valuable information about cost differences. On contrary, flexible budget analyses each cost on the ground of cost behaviour and thus gives important information about cost variances (Tulsian & Tulsian 2005).
