For this interactive assignment, you will assume the role of a clinical or counseling psychologist who has recently opened a private practice or begun working for a mental health agency. You are eager to begin working with your ideal client(s), but you first need to market your services. One way to attract clients is to create a professional website that provides an overview of your specialties. 

For this interactive assignment, you may use any website building platform you choose; however, you may wish to use Wix.com  (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., a free website development platform, to create your website. You may refer to the Wix Quick-Start Guide and read the PSY650 Dealing with Wix.com Instructions for assistance with creating your website should you decide to use Wix as your platform.

Create a fictitious persona based on the role you are assuming and create a website with the following required elements.

Name, Photo, and Credentials: Be sure to include your persona’s degree, type of license, and any professional membership organizations appropriate to your assumed role. You may also list any appropriate division memberships and certifications applicable to your specialty.

Personal Statement:  Create a 200-word personal statement in which you describe attributes that make your assumed persona, practice, and/or agency unique. Explain to potential clients what problems and/or issues you address and how you could help them in your assumed role. You may also describe why you have chosen this profession and why people choose to work with you.

Specialties: Identify at least three areas in which your persona specializes (e.g., trauma, relationships issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem). Treatment Preferences: Compare the possible theoretical orientations appropriate to your assumed role, and identify your treatment orientation. Identify which modalities (e.g., individual, couples, family, and/or group) your persona would use with clients. For further assistance with creating this portion of the website, review the Heatherington, et al. (2012) article titled “The Narrowing of Theoretical Orientations in Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training.”

Client Focus: Describe the population that your assumed persona would primarily serve. Include information regarding age, gender, religious orientations, ethnicities, and/or special populations. List all languages you speak fluently and provide any additional information on cultural specialization your persona may have.

Confidentiality and Limitations: Explain to the client what information will remain confidential in your sessions as well as the limitations of confidentiality. Keep in mind the age of your target population.

Once you have completed your website according to the instructions, copy and paste the URL for your website into the forum for review by your instructor and peers.

Guided Response: Review several of your colleagues’ posts and respond to at least two of your peers by 11:59 p.m. on Day 7 of the week. You are encouraged to post your required replies earlier in the week to promote more meaningful interactive discourse in this discussion.

Take on the role of the client and carefully review the information provided in your peer’s website. Describe the components of the website that resonated with you. Analyze the American Psychological Association’s Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct related to the information provided within your colleague’s website and offer suggestions as to other ethical issues that should be considered in their “Confidentiality and Limitations” section. Pose questions you have as a potential client that might prevent you from seeking out the services from this mental health professional. Suggest ways in which the website might be improved and explain your rationale for the modification(s).

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Free Speech on College Campuses. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Speech codes have been implemented&nbsp.in an attempt to protect others from verbal abuse, however, this is a clear violation of the First Amendment and distances society further from the problems that lead to the culminate hatred towards the individuals who are often subjected to hate speech. Issue of speech code can clearly be seen in environments such as public schools as there are people from numerous backgrounds who have different views and opinions. Hence, this raises the question whether it would be suitable to give college students total freedom of speech without affecting the education system, There are also other rights that have to be protected such as the fourteen amendments that were implemented to give every citizen equal protection. There are differences in freedom of speech in different countries.

For example, China does not provide total freedom of speech and some media sources are actually banned from the country. China feels that restrictions in this aspect enable better control over the population. Hence, one must assess the two extremes and derive a conclusion about whether it is advantageous or detrimental to give college students total freedom of speech. The human speech represents and expresses an individual’s views in terms of morality and opinion. These are both subjective factors that can vary immensely among individuals. An example can be made of Irvine’s 11 that made a stand against the refusal of Orsen to acknowledge that he had committed crimes against humanity. These individuals were arrested, and the school insisted that it would implement the appropriate disciplinary measures. Hence, in this aspect, there is also the consideration of who the freedom affects and benefits. Clearly, the students expressed their opinion and showed no resistance or abusive behavior, however, should such stands be permitted in a college environment which has numerous questionable regulations? As mentioned above, college students are from many different backgrounds and share&nbsp.different views and opinions that may be extremely offensive to others and undermine their equality and dignity as human beings.

As you have worked throughout this session, you should have considered this article and how it may or may not have impacted different situations in the world economic/business/legal/political environments. The essay you will write on the next question should show that you have read this article and can apply the theories and thoughts from that article to the scenario provided. The Ukraine is a relatively large country of 45+ million people, with a large surface area of farm land, similar to Kansas or Nebraska in the U.S. The Ukraine was one of the fifteen Republics that made up the old Soviet Union, but became a separate and independent country when the Soviet Union fell apart in 1991. In early 2014, the Ukraine was negotiating to become part of the European Union, when Russia, which shares a long border with the Ukraine, objected and began attacking them in an effort to seize at least part of their country. The Russians invaded and assumed ownership of the Crimea Peninsula from the Ukraine, which is a strategically located series of harbors with both military and international trade value.Russia then invaded the eastern part of the Ukraine, armed Russian Separatists who wanted to become part of Russia, and began daily combat with the Ukraine army. The fighting continues intermediately, as casualties are nearing 800 fighters killed, plus 298 passengers lost on a commercial airplane that was shot down in the eastern Ukraine by the rebel troops with a Russian missile. Many people believe this crisis is a beginning of Russian efforts to rebuild the territories that use to be the Soviet Union back into a “Greater Russia.” They have already seized a portion of the Republic of Georgia, which also had been a Republic in the Soviet Union. The Ukraine does consist of very valuable farm land, which generates a huge amount of products for export, particularly wheat. Obviously, the Ukrainian government prefers to be part of the democracy of the European Union, as opposed to be back under Russian domination. Argue for or against the future direction of the Ukraine on an ethical basis. Should Ukraine go back to its historical association with Russia, or into a collection of big money countries in the European Union? Use Smeltzer and Jennings’s article as a basis for a solution to avoiding a future conflict such as this. Can you think of a way that an international code of business ethics would have helped avoid this crisis or could keep other ones from occurring in the future? What challenges would there be in implementing ethical codes that may prevent such a situation in the future?
