My English 2 class has been reading Macbeth every since the semester started and we just finish two weeks ago. Now, we are assign an essay about, “How can ambition be dangerous?”. I’ve read a lot of different versions of Macbeth and I just seem to understand it at all. I’ve did my introduction so far and my English teacher said “It doesn’t make any sense. How can it be dangerous?” She gave us extra help by printing us article of ambition and use some in my introduction, but not in my words, which she also comment about. This is what I have so far…

“Can ambition be dangerous? Ambition is dangerous, because its a strong desire to do or to achieve something. Ambition  can only be dangerous if its unhealthy to which causes reductive and destructive and more akin to greed and power. It can leaves one blind to certain areas and can drive one insane to reach intended goal. But, can also what keeps one going.”
