Below is the data collected in class for the “Heat It, Then Cool It”, application problem.

It appears that the first part of the piecewise function should be written for t less than 35, and the second part for t greater than or equal to 35.

And remember, we said that the horizontal asymptotes were at y=173 and y=41.
