Advancements in technology and the effects of technological change inevitably produces changes in social and cultural constructs. These effects are rarely equal or equitable. Reflecting upon your life, how has technology effected you? Have the effects been equal or equitable? Have you or someone you know been displaced? Has the effects of technological change created additional social and cultural tensions? Has resistance to technological advancement created tensions or adversity?  

Think about these questions, reflect upon your experience and the readings in Chapter two, and continue your journal. You should continue in your original journal file. Indicate the new journal with a heading, such as Journal 2.
