1. Should health systems, community agencies, and social service providers receive patientconsent before sharing information and discussing people’s medical (and non-medical) issues?

Some states have passed laws addressing patients’ “right to die.” The State of Oregon was the first to take the issue up. Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act has become the model that some other stateshave followed when adopting similar measures.
