Ideas on the state of capitalism today

I thought this was an interesting and timely video. Whole Foods CEO John Mackey discusses ideas about the current state of capitalism and the market economy, which he feels suffers from a false narrative about how it actually operates (Cato Institute, 2013).

I found it interesting he placed the blame on governments, corporations, and individuals. What were your thoughts on the video? What do you think about his comments on today’s narrative of how the market economy operates? What are some other topics and ideas you took away?
