If I have 3 tubes in water with 50 degree:

each 2 drops of 1-chlorobutane, 1-bromobutane and 1-iodobutane with each 1cm3 ethanol. And if I then ad 1cm3 of silver nitrate in each tube, what will happen? Will there be a sn1 or sn2 reaction? what difference does the heat make?

If I instead take each 2 drops of 1-bromobutane, 2-bromobutane, 2-brom-2-methylpropane with each 1cm3 ethanol in three different tubes and I then ad 1cm3 of silver nitrate in each tube, what will happen? Will there be a sn1 or sn2 reaction? Please explain detailed.

Im trying to understand the rate of reaction and substitution reactions is affected by the nature and location of the halogens.
