The influence of ancient myths on contemporary society cannot be understated. Whether we discuss terminology, such as going on an “odyssey” or having the “Midas touch”; or we discuss philosophical topics, such as Yin/Yang, caste systems, or Valhalla; or even the movies we see, such as Clash of the Titans, Thor, or Troy, influence from ancient myths abound. 

Discuss here where you see other influences of ancient myths on contemporary society. Be certain to touch on not only the Greek and Roman myths, but on at least one of the other cultures we have addressed. You may also, if you like, discuss mythological influences from cultures we did not address.
