On the other hand, the said health care system in Germany does not look all too well in all aspects as there are other citizens who feel that they are deprived of their profits in return for their services. These are mostly the university hospitals and the doctors that provide the said efficient service. These are basis for arguments with regard to the market-based system of Germany. One argument would be the efficiency of a market-based system to the wages of medical practitioners as well as the profits of the hospitals from their services. The underrated wages of doctors do not seem to be a fair share and serve the argument whether or not market-based system is ideal in compensating the need of practitioners, and hospitals to gain profit over their efficient service (“Sick Around the World,” 2008). Another argument would be the fairness this serves for the employed ones since they are to pay the health insurance of those jobless citizens. It was stated by one of the members of the German parliament that health insurance on the jobless will not change, and they are still to receive the same treatment if they lose their job. These arguments are being discussed and are even fought through rallies and movements, which demand an increase in compensation for medical practitioners (“Sick around the world,” 2008). It is indeed overwhelming to realize that the said system would even pay for a spa or a belly dancing session for a jobless when these fees are taken from the employed ones on their sickness funds.
