Compose a 2250 words assignment on the role police officers play in domestic violence. Needs to be plagiarism free! This research paper focuses on the topic of police officers, who usually assume four major roles in the following areas: law enforcement, order maintenance, provision of miscellaneous services, and convenience norm enforcement. They are expected to fulfill their various roles and duties. In every community, individuals and community groups have expectations on police officers. These expectations are various between different set of roles of police officers: prescribed, preferred, and enacted. The statistics concerning domestic violence is an indication of the severity of this problem. In the United States and around the world, the number of domestic violence cases, wherein most of the victims are women, is increasing today. The role of police officers in domestic violence has been under changes the same way that domestic violence cases were handled over the centuries. Interestingly, the society initially did not perceive domestic violence as criminal behavior. In fact, the criminal justice agencies concurred that “a man is free to do what he wishes in the privacy of his home.” Police officers also perceived domestic violence as something between a nuisance and a dangerous situation that must be avoided. The researcher then concluds that police officers may take the role of a counselor, lawyer, and even advisor. This is not as easy as it looks, as sometimes conflict of roles arises. In particular, the San Diego case, discussed in the paper show the important roles of police officers in combating domestic violence crimes.

Hi, need to submit a 2250 words paper on the topic Marketing on the New Executive MBA Degree Program. Executive MBA is to acquaint the employee quick-fix skills theoretically as well as practically and to give him an idea as to how he would better his working regimes in line with the knowledge that he has had in a short period of time. (Wolverton, 2004) The new Executive MBA serves to disseminate the extraordinary and the ordinary, challenge the hierarchical levels within an organization and break through the clutter that remains in the wake of similar processes, tasks, and activities – day in day out.

Marketing the all-new Executive MBA is like marketing a new car with fully loaded features and that extra zest which it brings to the competition, a point of dismay for the rivals that they so hate to acknowledge. Under such scenarios, the new Executive MBA aims to market itself in a manner where “transformation” is the buzzword and hence all such relations are derived from the processes that have been changed by the incorporation of the new Executive MBA degree program within the reigns of an employee, thus bringing a positive change towards his work ethics and the mannerisms which shape up in his organizational domains. (Ackoff, 1999) The new Executive MBA looks to have an advancing mechanism in the life of an employee. It guarantees success and much beyond the very same.

To market a new Executive MBA degree program, it is important to find out how it will create an impact and in what manner the target audience needs to be ‘hit’ upon with the pertinent message. The frequency with which this message will be transmitted is another point that comes into the serious reckoning. The Executive MBA builds the much-needed skillset within the resume of the employee and not only that, but it also creates a sense of understanding the organizational domains in a better and more correct manner than was apparent to the employee without the Executive MBA degree under his belt. (Salopek, 2003) There is a lot of growth within the relevant regimes as far as the Executive MBA’s&nbsp.attainment is concerned.&nbsp.

10% 12%

Based on the market offer, company A has the comparative advantage of borrowing U.S. dollar, and company B has the comparative advantage of borrowing British pound (it is intuitive since company A is headquartered in U.S. and company B is headquartered in U.K.). However, company A wants British pound for its U.K. expansion, while company B wants U.S. dollar for its U.S. expansion.

The swap agreement: company A borrows U.S. dollar at 8% from the market, and company B borrows British pound at 12% from the market. Then they sit down and do the swap. After the swap, A pays net 11% on the British pound, and B pays net 9.4% on U.S. dollar.

The problem is, it looks like company B is completely ripping company A off!

Why doesn’t company A just borrow U.S. dollar and exchange it to British pound to fund its business? This way, company A only pays 8% interest on U.S. dollar. Why on earth would company A agree to such a swap and eventually pay 11% interest on the British pound, even though 11% interest rate on British pound is 0.6% lower than the U.K. market offers? Why would company A ever want to pay interest based on U.K. market rate which is much higher than the rate in U.S. market?
