Exercise 1 – Troubleshooting EIGRP

The configurations that have been applied to the devices within this lab have a number of incorrect settings and are causing numerous problems.

This exercise rolls up all your troubleshooting and configuration skills learnt within the modules of this course. You will need to use all of these skills to correct the configurations on each of the devices such that you resolve the symptoms that have been noted in the symptoms list below.

Pay close attention to the diagram shown below, this diagram will give you all the information you need to fix the issues. As with any real world scenario, if there is something you don’t understand, you may need to refer to your favourite search engine to gain some additional understanding on a particular technology.

Symptoms

The following symptoms have been observed. Use your skills and the information in the diagram below to resolve them.

  • Server PLABCSCO01 is receiving intermittent ping replies from 172.16.16.1 as shown in the image below after this list.
  • The route for 10.16.18.0/24 is going via NYEDGE2 and not directly via NYEDGE1 as it should when using a traceroute from PLABCSCO01.
  • NYCORE2 has no EIGRP adjacencies.
  • There is an incorrect route entry for 192.168.16.0, there should only be a /24 route in any of the routing tables for this subnet.
  • There is no load balancing between NYWAN1 serial interfaces s0/0/0.641 and s0/0/0.256
  • The route for 172.16.10.128/25 is not being advertised.
  • The route for 172.16.11.0/28 is not being advertised.
  • The route for 172.16.11.128/28 is not being advertised.

3-4 pages, double spaced

As you read, the political actions of policymakers of the United States charted the nation’s course through the prosperity of the 1920s, the great economic decline of the 1930s, the industrial rebirth spurred on by mobilization in during World War II, and a rebound to financial affluence in the 1950s and 1960s. Although there were many struggles for the United States to achieve growth, the Presidents and political parties pushed legislation to move America forwards in terms of economic and social health.

For this essay, choose one political event between the 1920s and the 1960s that you believe was a turning point for the nation. The political turning point must demonstrate that without legislative action, the country would suffer economic or social decline. Think about how certain groups benefited or lost some power due to this change in policy.  You must be able to develop a strong argument, write a clear thesis, and support your work with citations and analysis from primary and secondary sources.

YOU MUST USE ONE OF THE SOURCES ATTACHED BELOW. TWO ARE PREFERRED. PLEASE AVOID OUTSIDE SOURCES.

Examples of political events include Big Business Policies of the 1920s, parts of the New Deal, the GI Bill, the Red Scare/McCarthyism, Policies against Communism, Promotion of Minorities, Brown vs. The Board of Education, etc.

Using PivotTables to answer questions

Suppose we wanted to answer the question: “What is the amount sold by each salesperson?” for the sales data in the example below. Answering this question could be very time-consuming and difficult—each salesperson appears on multiple rows, and we would need to total all of their different orders individually. We could use the Subtotal command to help find the total for each salesperson, but we would still have a lot of data to work with.

Fortunately, a PivotTable can instantly calculate and summarize the data in a way that is both easy to read and manipulate. Perform the following.

  1. Use the PivotTable to calculate and summarize the data.
  2. Once you have created a PivotTable, change the order amount to currency.
  3. What is the amount sold by each salesperson?
  4. What is the total amount sold in each month?
  5. Take a screenshot or use the Snipping tool to copy the worksheet where the new pivot table and pivot table fields appear to show your work. Paste the screen images into a Word doc.

Submit your answers for this assignment by pasting the worksheet screenshots in 1- to 3-page Word document.

SLP Part II

For Part II, prepare a 1- to 2-page Word document paper addressing the following question.

Research 2-3 security measures that are available to protect customers shopping on the Internet. Define the measure and find the benefits and limitations of each approach.

SLP Assignment Expectations

Your assignment will be graded following these expectations:

  • SLP Part I and II must be submitted in one combined Word document containing 2-5 pages properly labeling each section.
  • Submit a Word document with screen copies of the Excel worksheet by pasting them in 1-3 pages. Answer the security question in 1-2 pages.
  •  Precision: the questions asked are answered.
  • Clarity: Your answers are clear and show your good understanding of the topic.
  • Breadth and depth: The scope covered in your paper is directly related to the questions of the assignment and the learning objectives of the module.
  • Your paper meets the page requirements not counting the cover page or the references pages.
