Many different types of sensors can be used for pressure measurement. For this discussion, think about the different factors on which the choice of a particular pressure sensor depends and discuss them

As with most measurements, pressure measurement techniques have varying degrees of suitability for different industrial applications. Measurement engineers need to be familiar with a wide range of pressure measurement tools in order to select the one that is most appropriate for each specific industrial application. In this activity, we explore the factors affecting the selection of a pressure sensor for a given industrial application.

Need an argumentative essay on Skeletal System in the Human Body. Needs to be 2 pages. Please no plagiarism.

Diarthroses joint is a small space that exists between the articulating surfaces of the two joined bones. Since no other tissues grow in this cavity, the surfaces move freely against one another. Hence, they are functionally defined as freely movable joints. Some examples include ball and socket joints and hinge joints.Synarthroses joint does not have a joint cavity. Fibrous cartilage ‘or bone tissues grow between the articulating surfaces of the two joined bones and make them unable to move freely against one another. Therefore, they are functionally defined as immovable (or slightly movable) joints that do not allow free movement. Examples include the skull joints. Motor nerves supply signals from the nervous system to the muscle system. A single motor nerve fiber that supplies to a group of muscle fibers within a muscle is called a motor unit.Skeletal muscles are more rapid in contracting than cardiac and smooth muscles. Skeletal muscles are important in locomotion and movement and consequently are of greatest interest to the ergonomist. Glucose stored in the cell or diffused into the cell from the circulatory system can be broken down anaerobically to generate ATP for muscle contractions. The all-or-none law, states that once the threshold has been reached, an action potential will continue to completion where the membrane will depolarize and then re-polarize. The all-or-none law also applies to muscle fibers. For muscles, the law states that once adequately stimulated, a muscle fiber will contract completely. Not all the muscle fibers are necessarily stimulated at the same time stated earlier, smaller motor units are recruited first and then aggressively larger motor units until the desired strength is attained. Thus, not all the muscle fibers are necessarily contracted at the same time. Fatigue results in failure of a muscle to contract in response a stimulus. The segment of the lever between the point of force exertion and the fulcrum is called the force arm and, likewise, the segment between the resistance and the fulcrum is called the resistance arm.

Case Study ‘Countering cyber risk presents a significant strategic challenge to leaders across industries and sectors but one that they must surmount in order to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the vast technological advances in networked technology that are currently in their early stages. Over the past decade, we have significantly expanded our understanding of how to build secure and resilient digital networks and connected devices. However, board-level capabilities for strategic thinking and governance in this area have failed to keep pace with both the technological risks and the solutions that new innovations provide

. Boards have a vital governance function, determining overall company behaviour and setting a company’s risk appetite. For boards, action means effectively exercising oversight by asking managers the right questions to ensure that the boards’ strategic objectives are met. This function is no different in the area of cyber resilience. By offering the following principles and tools, the Forum hopes to facilitate useful dialogue between boards and the managers they entrust with the operation of the companies to which they owe their fiduciary obligations.’ 7 Source: World Economic Forum (2017), Advancing Cyber Resilience: Principles and Tools for Boards, http:// Required Assume you have been employed as a corporate governance consultant by a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and ranked within the ASX 200. The Chairman of the company has decided to address the issue of cyber security at the company board level. As an initial step in the process of improving the cyber resilience of the company the Chairman has employed you to prepare a report that critically analyses how the company can best integrate its cyber security and resilience protocols to ensure continued corporate survival and improved business performance. Children’s needs compare to the elderly’s in the way in which children may be in long term care for one single disability or condition while the elderly can be taken care of having multiple conditions or comorbidities. One example of a difference is pediatric nursing care units. Families and children find it important to have special physical and emotional needs in separate units with other children (Pratt, 2016, p. 98). The VA department provides long-term and short-term care in nursing homes for veterans who cannot care for themselves or do not need to be in a hospital setting (Wadsworth n.d.). “The Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit, or “A&A benefit,” provides up to $1,794 per month to a veteran, $1,153 to a surviving spouse or $2,127 to a couple. The money, which is tax-free, can be used for in-home care, board and care, an assisted living community or a private-pay nursing home” (Lunden, 2017). Rehabilitation in long term care can help those with therapies for those after an injury at a place that provides services such as laundry and nursing services. In long-term care there are medical staff around to aide in whatever is needed medically. Being able to rehabilitate within a LTC facility provides people with great care while they are recovering.
