Hi, I need help with essay on Tata Motors marketing strategy. Paper must be at least 750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

The suppliers have little bargaining power over Tata Motors (Morrison, 2011). The suppliers include companies selling metals, tires, radios, air condition units, and other accessions to Tata Motors. The suppliers include companies offering different accessories Tata Motors. A large number of competing suppliers prevents one supplier having significant control or influence over Tata Motors’ choice of suppliers. In the short term, the suppliers’ bargaining power has a favorable effect on Tata Motors. Tata Motors can choose a supplier that offers the best quality product or service. In the long term, the suppliers’ bargaining power has an unfavorable effect on Tata Motors. The suppliers may unite to offer an industry-agreed price for the products. The new competitors’ threat is insignificant (Clark, 2010). With the high entry barriers, entities are discouraged from entering Tata Motors’ current vehicle market. One of the high barriers is the required high investment amount. Another barrier is the high India import duty rates. A third high barrier is the need to adapt the imported motor vehicles to India’s dilapidated poor road conditions. The fourth barrier is the high-temperature level’s damaging effects on the new competitors’ motor vehicles. The substitutes deliver lesser transportation quality and service than Tata Motors. The use of slow men-carrying Palanquin transport is not practical. The use of the Bullock cart is unrealistically slow. The horse carriage is slower than the Tata vehicle.

Unit 10 Discussion

Throughout this course, many discussion opportunities come up where you need to respond to other people’s opinions and comments. Respond to your Discussion topic after you have completed your Reading.

Financing and Credit:

In the beginning of a business, and over time, you may need to borrow money for a short time (revolving credit or short term loans), or a long time (a mortgage, or an equipment loan, for example).

  • Given your profit and loss projection from last week, do you anticipate needing to borrow money for any reason? Keep in mind the seasonality of your company. You might make a lot of money in the winter, and have essentially no business in the summer — think of how that is true for a ski resort, for example.
  • If you foresee having to use someone else’s money, how do you anticipate getting that? Discuss using both debt and equity financing. Also think about how you can use other people’s money (like suppliers). Be sure to address any bootstrapping measures you might take.
  • Even if you plan to keep your business small, imagine what you would need to do if you wanted to grow. This exercise requires you to use your imagination. The only wrong answer for these discussion purposes will be if you state you do not need money now and never will. Even if that is true, imagine what you would do if you needed it.

Homework Assignment 9

Due in week 10 and worth 30 points

Suppose that there are two (2) candidates (i.e., Jones and Johns) in the upcoming presidential election.  Sara notes that she has discussed the presidential election candidates with 40 friends, and 27 said that they are voting for candidate Jones. Sara is therefore convinced that candidate Jones will win the election because Jones gets more than 50% of votes.

Answer the following questions in the space provided below:

1. Based on what you now know about statistical inference, is Sara’s conclusion a logical conclusion? Why or why not. What inference test should she use?

2. What z-score did she obtain?

3. What should her conclusion state?

4. Compute the 95% confidence interval?

5. What role does the margin of error play in determining how many individuals should be sampled if we desired a margin of error plus or minus .000001?

6. How would you explain your conclusion to Sara without using any statistical jargon? In other words, is her original sample size sufficient or should she interview more people to obtain an accurate prediction.
