Write 1 page essay on the topic In-class.

It is different however because of its rigidity. It doesnt look true to the human bodys natural form. It appears tense and perfect. The abdomen is an example of how the statue takes on a perfectionist look. It is a complete oval. The body is free of hair and the hair on the head is perfectly groomed. This sculpture was given the name Kouros which eventually became a common word for the upright male statue.

The second statue appears to have been created from bronze. The eyes and mouth show a different colour so are more than likely made from another material. It is a more classic statue and was probably created after the Archaic period. It is less rigid and displays more fluid movement in the arms. Though the symmetry and the anatomy of the human body has been carefully studied and created in each statue there appears to be more detail in the second bronze

In the case study of this chapter, we considered a nearly 100-year record of theHudson’s Bay Company to estimate abundances of snowshoe hares and their Canadalynx predators (Lynx canadensis). Both species exhibited regular population cycles, withabundances peaking about every 10 years and then falling to low levels (see Figure12.2A).Suppose for the purposes of this problem that you know the following components ofthe relationship between snowshoe hare and lynx_r=0.4, m=0.9a=0.01, ba=0.011)Using the values above, calculate the isoclines for prey and predator. Then.graph the isoclines for each species. Label all your axes and isoclines.dP/dt = 0N= m/baN= 0.90/0.01 = 90 preydN/dt=0P=r/aP= 0.40/0.01= 40 predators

What is your point of view on this landslide?

On June 24th 2017 a horrendous landslide occurred in the village of Xinmo, which is located in the Sichuan province in China. Due to the amount of rain in that region of China it increases the chances of landslides, and with this landslide came 106 million cubic feed of rocks and sediments down hill. According to Forbes that is enough to fill the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and still have a million cubic feet left. When the sediment and rocks came down it buried an entire village, and it was feared that over 120 people were buried alive and at least 15 were found dead according to BBC.

This area is unfortunately prone to natural disasters, in particular, landslides due to the number of earthquakes and rain this area receives. The landslides are extremely dangerous because of the fact that this type of landslide, debris landslides, can pick up trees and other objects and take them crashing with them to the ground. If we look at landslides scientifically they tend to occur when the force of gravity is greater than the stability of the hill, mountain, etc. There was some economic damage unfortunately due to the local river system being blocked but after rescuing the trapped individuals the river system was unblocked. As stated because of the landslides being very common to this region this incident is bound to happen again. They had over 500 rescuers and 20 dogs looking for those individuals trapped so I really don’t think there could have been anything extra done in this case to limit the number of deaths, especially because their type of landslides vary between being caused by rain and seismic activity.

Write a 5 page essay on Markting 3000.

The behavioral pattern of the people, in the decision making process of buying products and services, helps provide important clues for preparing appropriate market strategies so that maximum mileage could be garnered for the products. The paper is an attempt to study the consumer psychology that culminates in purchase of goods.

Two consumers, who had bought cars, were studied for the learning processes that led to their buying decision vis-à-vis five major factors: need recognition. information search. evaluation of alternatives. purchase. and post purchase dissonance. The consumers had come from diverse socio-economic background and their purchase psychology would significantly provide a wider spectrum of important clues for marketers. The interviews consisted of same set of questions regarding their pre and post purchase psychology and the factors and issues that had considerable impact on their decision making process. Consumer A belonged to an affluent class and was working in a multinational company as a System Analyst. He had bought a Mercedes’ Benz. Consumer B was a Teacher in a semi urban locality and belonged to a middle class society. He had bought Honda City.

As per their responses, it was found that both the consumers had different need recognition that was driven by their beliefs, attitude and lifestyle imperatives. Consumer A was conscious of his social status and wanted a car that would add value to his lifestyle. He therefore, wanted a high end, flashy car that would also give good return vis-à-vis his investment. Consumer B’s requirement was primarily need driven because of the long and time consuming public transport to his workplace. He, therefore, required a sturdy, low investment and comfortable family car that would be economic as well as reliable. He was, therefore looking for a medium range, practical and comfortable car.
