Hi, I need help with essay on Men and women have equal pay. Discuss. Paper must be at least 1000 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Recognising the biased nature of the wage situation, several attempts have been made on the part of the UK government and other equal-rights organisations to remove the inequality, but limited progress has been made until now. Rather, the situation persists despite the fact that laws have been passed to discourage this practice1. Theories for the existence and persistence of this problem are many. Some blame the lower level of education or other kind of training possessed by women. others to the willingness of women to accept initial wage offers. Still others attribute the wage gap to problems in the labour market or to the alternate responsibilities of women as mothers or child-carers. Whatever the reason: occupational segregation, sex discrimination, or other. it is evident that even today the labour market is constructed in a way that allows women to be poorly paid for a job that they do as well as the men who work alongside them.

One study describes wage discrimination as stemming from the “crowding [of] women into a limited range of occupations” (Walby and Olsen, 2002, p. 41). This is also known as occupational segregation. Women have made great strides in the working world since their general entrance into the workforce, which occurred only recently. However, they still have much to do in order to be considered on the same level as men. In the British Virgin Islands, poverty “has been especially associated with female headed households because of the concentration of women in lower paying jobs” (Status of Women, 2005). This type of “crowding” is typical all over the United Kingdom. Women are forced into menial or low-skilled jobs, largely because many do not possess the education or skill to fill higher positions. This is especially true of older women, who lived in a generation where women were much less likely to attain higher levels of education. As a result, women find themselves in general receiving less money than

Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on Organization Culture Exercise. It needs to be at least 500 words.

The personnel of the organization are involved as well as specialized in the arrangements of intercultural dialogues, networks and relationships. The organization is also involved in promoting education among the poor people of several countries.

Considering the transparent role that the company is playing in terms of bringing together the people of different countries for the promotion of culture, the organizational culture of British Council is an example to be followed by the same people who are involved in different programs initiated by the organization.

Considering the discussion of the organizational culture, the Competing Values Framework is one of the most successful business models which can answer well about an organizational environment and its working. The significant traits of this model can be seen through figure presented below:

The model presented above can be said to be perfectly executed in the organizational culture of British Council. The human resource development is the key aim within the organization according to which the morale of the individual employees of the organization is boosted through various means. The internal process of the company is very transparent in which all the employees have stability in their job and they have firm control over their duties. The key aim is the spread of the information through all the departments involved in the organization into a particular activity. Growth is another feature that the employees are expected to show in the organizational environment, which means that the employees have to be forward-thinking and have positive approach in carrying out a particular function, and this is one main feature that has been experienced by me in the British Council’s organizational culture. The employees of the BC are also expected to be efficient and productive and for which they have better resources by using which they can become more transparent in their approach that

07.04 Pests and Pest Management – Pest Management Lab

Procedure

  1. Predict how many insect or other pest parts may be found in your household food supplies.
  2.  Use approximately one cup of each of the substances. Handle each one separately.
  3. Spread out the food on a newspaper or paper towel. Carefully observe and record any foreign objects (different colors will make them easy to find—they could be eggs, wings, legs, or unidentified items). Taking your time, spread the substance out in a very thin layer so that you can observe it in detail. You may use a magnifying glass if you wish. Record your data in a table format.
  4. Record the following information in your data table:
  • Was the food container open or closed when you began this experiment?
  • What substance is the food container made of (cardboard, plastic, etc.)?
  1. Design an experiment that tests the principles of integrated pest management to reduce pests in food using alternatives to chemical treatment. You do not have to carry out the experiment. Choose at least two of these ideas presented in step 6 for your proposal, or suggest your own ideas (obtain approval from your instructor). Design an experiment that could test the effectiveness of your two proposed control methods.
  2. Integrated pest management principles include the following: increase sanitation, use clean tools and containers, isolate food substances, monitor environment carefully, handpick pests, natural predators, monitor life cycles (know your pests), physically block pests, and seal cracks and crevices.

Reflection Questions

  1. Were you aware that all of your food products probably contain pests or pest parts? How does this influence what you purchase and eat?
  2. How is pest control an important factor in food production?
  3. Do you think the pests were present before the food entered your home, or were the pests present in your home and found the food when it was brought in? Explain your reasoning.
  4. In your examination of food substances, which had more pest/pest parts? Why do you think this substance was most affected?
