http:// the FITT principle as a guideline, design a basic cardiovascular and weight program plan. Be sure to specify a training goal and include exercises that workout the entire body.

Chapter 11 provides examples of workouts using the FITT principle (I upload)

Frequency of Exercise

For general fitness the ACSM recommends 2–3 days per week for weight training. Allow muscles at least 1 day of rest between workouts.

Intensity of Exercise:

Amount of Resistance  The amount of weight lifted determines the way the body will adapt and how quickly it will adapt. To build strength rapidly, lift weights as heavy as 80% of your maximum capacity. For endurance, choose 40–60% of your maximum. Rather than continually assessing maximum capacity, base weight on the number of repetitions you can perform.

Time of Exercise: Repetitions and Sets

To improve fitness, you must perform enough repetitions to fatigue your muscles. A heavy weight and a low number of repetitions (1–5) build strength. A light weight and a high number of repetitions (15–20) build endurance. For general fitness, do 8–12 repetitions of each exercise. For older and more frail people (50–60 years of age and above), 10–15 repetitions with a lighter weight is appropriate.

Type or Mode of Exercise

A complete weight training program works all the major muscle groups, including neck, upper back, shoulders, arms, chest, abdomen, lower back, thighs, buttocks, and calves. Usually, 8–10 different exercises are required in order to work all major muscle groups. A balanced program includes exercises for both agonist and antagonist muscle groups. Exercise the large-muscle groups first and then small-muscle groups.

b) What is Theobald’s optimal daily diet and how much does it cost?

c) If a serving of Greek salad were to cost $3, rather than the current $5, what would be the new optimal daily diet and how much would it cost?

d) If a bottle of red wine were to cost $3.50, rather than the current $3, what would be the new optimal daily diet and how much would it cost?

e) By how much would the price of a bar of chocolate have to fall before it would become optimal for Theobald to consume some chocolate in his diet?

Comparative Analysis of Safety Management System Guidelines and Consensus Standards

For this assignment, you will be performing a comparative analysis on safety management standards and guidelines. You will begin by reviewing both the Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (International Labour Organization-Occupational Safety and Health [ILO-OSH]) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) Guidelines for Occupational Health and Safety Program Management. Both guidelines can be found in the Unit I Required Reading section. Following the review, you will develop a comparative analysis of the guidelines.

Your analysis must include the information listed below:

  • an overview of the guidelines, including information about the developing organization;
  • the similarities and differences between guidelines;
  • identification of how the guidelines include the model for continuous improvement (PDCA) discussed in the unit lesson;
  • identification of whether the core elements of a safety management system are included in the guidelines;
  • identification of the benefits to be obtained from implementing a safety management system; and
  • identification of an industry sector that currently uses the guidelines.

Your analysis must be two to three pages, double-spaced, and 12-point font (separate title page and reference page are required and do not count toward the total page length). Make sure that you include an introduction. A tutorial titled “Introductions and Conclusions” is available for you to view from the Success Writing Center. Here is the link to this tutorial:

You have been recently employed as an accountant for Bucks Phyz. The CEO has tasked you with reviewing the sales processes of the company and has provided you with key information based on interviews with key staff relating to the sales process (available in Interact).

The CEO is also considering the introduction of corporate credit cards for the purchase of smaller items for the business. At present, all purchases require a purchase order to be raised and sent to a supplier. This process was an issue when they recently tried to book a training course for two team members and the bookings needed to be completed on line. The staff needed to book the course themselves and seek reimbursement from Bucks Phyz. The CEO would also like advice regarding the impact of the introduction of corporate credit cards and who should be issued with a card.

Using the information provided to you, you need to prepare a business report to the CEO including the following:

  1. A summarised overview of the Sales Process for Bucks Phyz (1 mark). [This should be no longer than one (1) paragraph and need to focus on the key relevant facts. The CEO is already aware of this information, but this overview helps bring your report together for other readers]
  2. Identification of;
  3. internal control weaknesses in Bucks Phyz sale process; (2.5 marks)
  4. the impact these weaknesses could have on the organisation; (2.5 marks)
  5. specific internal controls which could be implemented by Bucks Phyz in the coming weeks to mitigate the risks posed by the internal control weaknesses you have identified. The CEO does not want theoretical controls suggested. They want practical controls that they can implement. (5 marks) [Note: all three (3) parts of question two (2) must be included as a table in your report]
  6. A review of the impact of the introduction of corporate credit cards. This needs to include:
  7. a detailed review of the benefits and potential risks associated with the introduction of corporate credit cards within Bucks Phyz. (3 marks)
  8. the specific Internal Controls which should be implemented by Bucks Phyz to minimize the impact and occurrence of the risks you have identified? (3 marks)
  9. a recommendation to the CEO regarding who should be issued with a corporate credit card and why? (1 mark)

2 marks will be awarded for the presentation of your report. This includes use of appropriate grammar and spelling, application of APA referencing and a report prepared in line with the presentation requirements below.
