Hi, I need help with essay on European culture. Paper must be at least 1750 words. Please, no plagiarized work!

Symbols consist of words, gestures, pictures, and objects representing a particular meaning. People sharing the culture only understand the meaning (Bondebjerg, 2004).

The research seeks to find out the influence of the historic European culture to the present culture. It will highlight the current culture and matters of art and recreation such as music. The culture of Europe comprise of many overlapping cultures (Bundaberg, 2004). This indicates that now common culture does not exist. European culture passed through a series of events under different groups of people. The Greeks laid the foundations of the modern culture. Romans strengthened it while the Christians established it with the help of the other Europeans. In the fifteenth century, renaissance and reformation reformed and modernized the culture. The European empires that came after reformation globalized the culture. This culture succeeded to influence other cultures of the world through European education and Christianity (Goldstein, & Council of Europe, 2005).

Culture consists of many aspects. By grouping similar aspects together, Scholars came up with five main components of culture. They include communication, cognitive component. material component, behavioral aspects, and religious aspects .communication comprise language. Language forms the most important aspect of culture in all cultures. People of the same culture interact and socialize with each other through the language (Goldstein, & Council of Europe, 2005). Create a 2 page essay paper that discusses Window Display (Pasta).

Beginning with the idea of “fall into CSR”, we wanted to bring together an autumnal atmosphere and a suggestion of serendipity – hence the upside-down trees dropping their leaves on to a representation of academia (the folders). The leaves hint at the significant relationship between nature and consumer/family science, but we wanted to take this suggestion further. We felt that certain aspects of the SCAMPER model – namely Substitute and Reverse – would make this connection much more obvious.

The pasta is a substitute for branches. as it is clear that our trees have recently dropped their leaves, we felt that the unpredictable shape of tree branches should be visible, rather than leaving the cardboard tree blank. The shape of the pasta does not exactly mirror the shape of branches, but it evokes a similar atmosphere, and adds greatly to the interest of the branch shapes cut into the cardboard.

The way in which we used the Reverse concept of SCAMPER is, I find, delightfully subtle: the pasta is a processed foodstuff, which is glued to the cardboard trees instead of (unprocessed) leaves. The reversal of the typical manufacturing process, again, emphasizes that in CSR we are very aware of the links between processed and unprocessed goods. That said, I feel that one improvement we could have made would be to use a processed good made from leaves, or had the unprocessed goods of pasta in the display. The reason that we decided against this was because the unprocessed ingredients of pasta (flour, water, egg, salt) do not have the same autumnal ideas as leaves and fall.

Furthermore, we felt that pasta has certain connotations which we felt would be a suitable presence in our display, particularly in relation to the family part of CSR. Pasta is often referred to as a comfort food, and is evocative of a family home and the commitment that thrives within such an environment. It is also a “healthy carbohydrate” (Baer-Sinnott) and a good basic staple for

One of your friends at the UNSW Business School is Mike Tuckerberg. Mike is an entrepreneur and he has just started a new social network for UNSW Business School students which is called “Schoolbook”. Schoolbook allows its members to share their news and pictures.

You also know of two other students in the UNSW Business School called Elder Rower and Younger Rower. Elder and Younger are identical twins. You know that they have just won a defamation court case and, after expenses, they have each been awarded $250,000.

Mike has talked to Elder Rower about investing in Schoolbook. Mike and Elder Rower agreed that Elder Rower would invest $100,000 in Schoolbook. They recorded their agreement in a document that had the heading “Terms Sheet”. This terms sheet included the following elements:

(a) This terms sheet outlines the principal terms with respect to the operation of Schoolbook

(b) Mike Tuckerberg and Elder Rower are each referred to as a ‘Party’ and collectively as ‘the Parties’.

(c) The Parties agree that this terms sheet is intended to be legally binding and to constitute the obligations of the Parties.

(d) Each Party is entitled to an equal share of the profits made by Schoolbook.

After the Terms Sheet was signed on 1 December 2016, Mike worked really hard to make Schoolbook a success. Elder Rower dropped out of UNSW and went to a start-up business

called SnappyTalk. He invested his balance of $150,000 in SnappyTalk, which is set to become a “unicorn” when it has its initial public offering in early 2018.

Younger Rower has been helping Mike to spread the news about Schoolbook through his extensive social media contacts. In July 2017, Mike was pleased to work out that Schoolbook had made a profit of $50,000 from online advertising, mainly using Google Adwords.

Mike sent Elder Rower $25,000 via a bank transfer on 31 July 2017.

On 1 August, he received:

(a) an email from Elder Rower that said “thanks for the dividend, I look forward to many more as does my brother Younger”; and

Grocery stores and gasoline stations in a large city would appear to be examples of competitive markets: There are numerous relatively small sellers, each seller is a pricetaker, and the products are quite similar.

  • How could we argue that these markets are not competitive?
  • Could each firm face a demand curve that is not perfectly elastic?
  • How profitable do you expect grocery stores and gasoline stations to be in the long run?

Airline industry experts generally believe that because of the “highly competitive” nature of U.S. airline markets, it is usually impossible to pass on higher jet fuel prices to passengers by raising ticket prices.

  • What factors do you suppose contribute to making U.S. airline markets “highly competitive”?
  • Accepting the premise that U.S. airline markets are indeed highly competitive, analyze in both the short run and long run the difficulty of raising ticket prices when jet fuel prices rise.
