The Student Information System Requirements Definitions (SISRD) document is the requirements definition document of a new software product that keeps track of both student and course records for educational institutions.

The goal of this software product is to maintain and track information about students in the educational institution and the courses offered by the institution. The users of the system are the staff of the institution. You are hired as a consultant software architect to design a use case diagram for this system.

Analyze the Courses and Classes Records System Requirements Definitionsdocument and formalize them as use cases. Generate a use case diagram showing the actors associated with each use case and structure your use cases using ≪include≫,≪extend≫, and generalization relationships, if applicable. The use case diagram must be generated by a UML drawing tool.

Links to Unified Modeling Language (UML) drawing tools are found in the syllabus and in the Required Resources for Module One.

After creating your model, make sure to submit all of the following deliverables:

  • A use case diagram
  • Verification and validation of your work
  • An explanation of your work and how you arrived at your solution
  • A reflection on your learning experience and lesson learned

Embed your diagram into the discussion topic and continue to add the rest of the information required.

Several months ago, I ran across a news story about a strange individual who had an unhealthy penchant for healthy eating. It seems that this gentleman was impressed with the amount of money that a local student organization had raised by holding a bake sale, and he wanted in on the action. Unfortunately, his plan hit a snag: he was not willing to sell anything unhealthy. Still, he was convinced that he could raise just as much money as the students without selling any brownies, cookies, or cakes by holding his very own salad sale!Being unscrupulous and broke, this man did not pursue any legitimate means of procuring the necessary ingredients for his roadside salad bar. He resorted to theft. The news reported that he actually stole 1000 pounds of cucumbers from a local farmer, and then hid the stash in his garage while he waited for the authorities to give up on the case. Finally, after a month spent dreaming of cucumber peels flying around an industrial-sized salad spinner, this mischievous individual returned to the garage to retrieve the contraband cucumbers. Unfortunately, things were not as he had hoped….You see, cucumbers are 99% water. When he left the cucumbers sitting out for a month, some of the water evaporated. By the time the man retrieved the cucumbers, their water content had decreased all the way from 99% to an embarrassingly dehydrated 98%! So, after weeks of planning and a month of anticipation, the cucumbers no longer weighed 1000 pounds. How many pounds of cucumbers were actually available for the man to use in his salad sale?

Hello, I am looking for someone to write an essay on A Brief History of Globalization. It needs to be at least 3250 words.

This research will begin with the definition of globalization as a process (or set of processes) which embodies a transformation in the spatial organization of social relations and transactions, expressed in transcontinental or interregional flows and networks of activity, interaction, and power. Globalisation is perhaps the most overused and least understood word, and one can easily see that the meaning and scope of the word has transformed and evolved dramatically over the past few years. The controversy associated with it proves how complicated scholars on both sides have made it. Under this backdrop, here is someone with a rational approach who seeks to clarify the concepts. Alex MacGillivray’s views are wry and balanced, replete with historic anecdotes and high-quality analysis of each aspect and implication of globalization. He litters his writing with speckles of benign humor when referring to the steady growth in the number of countries over the last few decades according to membership of the UN, recognition by FIFA or entries in the CIA’s World Fact Book. His observations are woven logically into the fabric of first-rate primary data analysis. For instance, a new data set showing that much of the reputed growth of an international trade over the past two decades arise from regional (intra trading block), rather than a truly international movement of goods and services. This idea contrasts what organizations like WTO and World Bank acclaim as the benefits of globalization.

Tagger is a Japanese multinational company that decided to expand its entertainment business in the United States. Tagger purchased CBS Records and Columbia Pictures to form Tagger Music and Tagger Pictures. Because of these acquisitions, Tagger assumed debt of $1.2 billion and allocated $3.8 billion to goodwill. On Tagger’s Annual Report filed with the SEC, Tagger reported only two industry segments: electronics and entertainment. Although Tagger Music was profitable, Tagger Pictures produced continued losses of approximately $1 billion. When Tagger purchased the motion pictures operations, it projected a loss for only five years because it assumed that the motion pictures entertainment would become profitable. However, Tagger suffered a significant loss after amortization and the costs of financing the acquisition for the past four years.

In the current year, Tagger Pictures sustained a loss of nearly $450 million, double the amount that Tagger had planned. To date, Tagger Pictures has had total net losses of nearly $1billion. Early in the year, Tagger declared that it had written down $2.7 billion in goodwill associated with the acquisition of Tagger Pictures. Tagger combined the results of Tagger Music and Tagger Pictures and reported them as Tagger Entertainment. Little profit was shown in Tagger Entertainment. Tagger’s consolidated financial statements did not disclose the losses from Tagger Pictures.

REQUIRED

•How should the write down of goodwill be reported? What information (if any) should be disclosed related to goodwill?

•Since Tagger has two businesses with different financial trends, should the consolidated financial statements provide specific segment disclosure information? What should the company disclose?

•Reporting insufficient information or excluding required disclosures can be misleading or perceived as unethical. What ethical standards applicable to Tagger’s reporting?
