Chantale Leroux works as a clerk for Avco Environmental Services, a small toxic-waste disposal company. The company has a contract to dispose of medical waste from a local hospital. During the course of her work, Chantale comes across documents that suggest that Avco has actually been disposing of some of this medical waste in a local municipal landfill. Chantale is shocked. She knows this practice is illegal. And even though only a small portion of the medical waste that Avco handles is being disposed of this way, any amount at all seems a worrisome threat to public health. Chantale gathers together the appropriate documents and takes them to her immediate superior, Dave Lamb. Dave says, “Look, I don’t think that sort of thing is your concern, or mine. We’re in charge of record-keeping, not making decisions about where this stuff gets dumped. I suggest you drop it.” The next day, Chantale decides to go one step further, and talk to Angela van Wilgenburg, the company’s Operations Manager. Angela is clearly irritated. Angela says, “This isn’t your concern. Look, these are the sorts of cost-cutting moves that let a little company like ours compete with our giant competitors. Besides, everyone knows that the regulations in this area are overly cautious. There’s no real danger to anyone from the tiny amount of medical waste that ‘slips’ into the municipal dump. I consider this matter closed.” Chantale considers her situation. The message from her superiors was loud and clear. She strongly suspects that making further noises about this issue could jeopardize her job. Further, she generally has faith in the company’s management. They’ve always seemed like honest, trustworthy people. But she was troubled by this apparent disregard for public safety. On the other hand, she asks herself whether maybe Angela was right in arguing that the danger was minimal. Chantale looks up the phone number of an old friend who works for the local newspaper.Questions:1.

1.) Find the x-intercept, the y-intercept, the vertical asymptote, and the horizontal asymptote of the function.

f(x) 4x^2+27x-7/ 6x^2-x-77

2.) State the restriction on the domain to make it one-to-one and the find the inverse of the function.

f(x) 4x+11/ 5x-6

3.) Determine the function described and then use it to answer the question.

A large mixing tank currently contains 55 gallons of liquid oxygen, into which 0.75 gallons of a bonding compound have been mixed. A tap will open, pouring 4 gallons of liquid oxygen per minute into the tank at the same time the bonding compound is poured into the tank at a rate of 0.15 gallons per hour. The concentration (ounces per gallon) of the bonding compound in the tank after t minutes is given by

c= 0.75+0.15t/ 55+4t

tC

4.) Identify the equation describing the relationship of the given variables. y varies jointly with the square root of h cubed and the cube of i and inversely with the third root of g.

When g = 1331 and h = 4 and i = 2, then y = 64.

5.) Use the compound interest formula

After a certain number of years, the value of an investment account is represented by the equation

10625(1+0.0255/24)^120

Please show how you arrived at the solution for all thank you

Develop class Polynomial. The internal representation of a Polynomial is an array of terms. Each term contains a coefficient and an exponent. The term 2×4 has a coefficient of 2 and an exponent of 4. Develop a full class containing proper constructor and destructor functions as well as set and get functions. The class should also provide the following overloaded operator capabilities:a)Overload the addition operator (+) to add two Polynomials.b)Overload the subtraction operator (-) to subtract two Polynomials.c)Overload the assignment operator (=) to assign one Polynomial to another.d)Overload the multiplication operator (*) to multiply two Polynomials.e)Overload the addition assignment operator (+=), the subtraction assignment operator (-=), and the multiplication assignment operator (*=).
