During his own lifetime, and often since then, Benjamin Franklin has been described as “the first American,” as someone who through his life and works epitomizes some attitude, spirit, action–or something else that distinguishes the United States. One wonders if anything that Franklin represented lives in popular American thought, today.

I challenge you to identify some contemporary piece of art, music, literature, or any other cultural artifact that you believe reflects the same (or similar) theme as you find in Franklin’s autobiography.

Support your idea with accurate, precise evidence. For both works, point out (with careful cited paraphrase and/or accurate and cited quote) the sentences(s) where in the text you see evidence of the theme you have identified and, to the extent necessary, explain why you believe those sentences illustrate the theme you claim.

Keep the Change is a clever way of encouraging savings that builds a savings account with a contribution margin of 2 percentage points of interest: It pays one percent on a savings account that can be invested in three percent, no-risk government paper, but will probably return more in its use by the bank management. Another way to say this is that the spread between the cost of the savings account and earnings from it is two percent. Let us say Bank of America spent an average of $200 per new savings account in this Keep the Change promotion. Bank of America shareholder required rate of return (RRR) is 20 percent. Assume a retention rate of 80 percent a year. What must the average balance in the Keep the Change savings account be over 10 years to have this campaign create shareholder value?

Can you help me understand the standard normal distribution chart? Please see problem below:An online stock trading company makes part of their revenue from clients when the clients trade stocks therefore, it is important to the company to have an good idea of how many trades its clients are making in a given year. In a sample of 120 clients of an online stock trading company, the average number of trades per year was 82 with a standard deviation of 16. If you were to test the hypothesis that the average number of trades per year is different than the previous year when the average number of trades was 85 (using the 5% level of significance), what is p-value for this test? (please round your answer to 4 decimal places)

MPA625 M5D1: Correlation & Causation Part 1

I need it in question/ answer format

Each part has to have at least 500 words.

In this module, you analyzed a hypothetical demand analysis. In this activity, you will discuss the findings of your analysis.

Review Ammons, Chapter 26, Table 26.3 [XLSX file size 11.6 KB] and the related material in the text. There are consistently more calls for service than the number of officers on duty. Using this information, address the following questions:

  • Are the increased calls for service the result of a lack of available officers on duty? Why?
  • Propose a statistical method or concept to defend or support your position.

M5D2: Parametric vs. Nonparametric Part 2

In this module, you were introduced to parametric and nonparametric statistical tests. In this activity, you will discuss the differences between the two.

For this activity, review the following article:

Bettany-Saltikov, J., & Whittaker, V. J. (2014). Selecting the most appropriate inferential statistical test for your quantitative research study (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. Journal of Clinical Nursing, 23(11/12), pp. 1520-1531. Retrieved from http://vlib.excelsior.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=rzh&AN=103937909&site=eds-live&scope=site

Then, respond to the following:

  • Compare and contrast the difference between parametric and nonparametric tests.
  • Propose a scenario in which you would use the Chi-Square test instead of the Pearson’s R. Identify and classify your variables as well as the scale of measurement to justify your proposal.
