Need two questions answered.  Will need separate answers for each and a separate reference for each.

Q1.

What global marketing challenges would you face if the simulation were based on a real-world situation? Discuss the difference in the experience you would have with the assumptions built into the simulation (e.g., no cultural barriers, language, currency, tariffs, mode of entry challenges).

Q2.

Think of two creative ideas for services to be provided by the grocery industry. Be very specific in terms of the rationale behind your approach, and the systematic procedures (e.g., questionnaire) you would use to introduce your services to the market.

Prepare a one to two page, double spaced, typewritten or word processed response to each case. For each case, ensure that your response or analysis addresses all aspects of the case problem.Case 1Jessica obtained her CMA accounting designation and set out to find work. In her job search, she came across an advertisement from a local trucking company, “Haul it All Ltd.,” seeking to hire an accountant. After attending a job interview, Jessica was told that “Haul it All” did not want to hire her as an employee, but as a contractor, for a fixed term of three years. She would, however, be given a desk and computer to use and would be expected to be in the office during regular business hours to do her work and answer accounting questions.Under the terms of their agreement, Jessica is paid a flat fee of $900 per week without payment for overtime work. Jessica finds she frequently has to work over 60 hours per week to get her work done. Jessica worked under these circumstances for two years. When she approached the owner to ask for time off for a vacation, he told her that she had no right to holiday time because she was not an employee. Jessica also asked for a reduction in her workload, but the owner told her that she agreed to do the accounting work for the flat fee offered and must, therefore, work the necessary hours, even if they seem excessive.Discuss the law as it applies to Jessica’s situation as well as any rights she might have in these circumstances.Case 2Lucy worked as a spray painter with Pete’s Autobody when she discovered she was pregnant. Worried about the effect of paint fumes on her unborn child, Lucy asked her employer if she could work in a different area. Initially, the employer complied with her request and moved her into the parts department. However, a few weeks later, the boss moved her back to the painting position, pointing to the company rule which said that a spray painter could only do painting work. Then her employer demanded a letter from her doctor absolving the company of liability for health problems or damage caused to her baby because of paint fumes at the workplace and suspended her until she produced such a letter. Lucy’s doctor refused to provide such a letter, so Lucy has not worked for three weeks.Discuss the law as it applies to Lucy’s situation as well as her rights in these circumstances.
